Writer: Insert background image via header

Hello

I would like to insert a background image as a link and use an image in the header, as with the normal properties for a page background it is no longer possible to link a image. However, I found a problem here.

If you right-click in the document, the background image is directly selected, which should not be. In addition, the image is already selected after a simple click in the header, which often inadvertently selects the header and this is only lifted by a click outside the document.

This is e.g. solved better in Microsoft Word, where there is a separate header mode, which is active only after a double-click in the header, and thus the image is not unintentionally selected, such as. when right-clicking in normal mode. In addition, the distinction between the two modes in Word is better represented by a grayed out image in the header in normal mode.

I have added a sample document including the linked images in the beginning which shows the described behavior.
How do I make it that the image in the header regarding the selection behaves just as in Word or as a normal embedded background image?
