Importing csv turns into Asian characters

I have csv’s from multiple banks. When I attempt to import them into 6.2.2.2 (x64), LibreOffice thinks that the whole document is all Asian writing. The same thing happened with 6.0.

Is there some way to correct this? Do I need to add something to my install?

Just set your character set to e.g. UTF-8, or whatever actual encoding is used in your CSV.
