I had Xubuntu and OpenOffice. Both Tahoma and Tinos fonts were available. Then I changed to LibreOffice and they still were. Now I've moved to Debian and they are missing. How do I get them back? Any ideas?

Install the fonts under Debian (Notice: Type-1 fonts are not supported with LibreOffice). In fact your question is a Debian question on how to check/install fonts under Debian.

I was afraid of that, but you did point out that LibreOffice does not support the fonts that OpenOffice does, so there's that.
