When putting a date in the top column, it enters correctly but when i send it it shows the day of the year instead of the day of the month. how do I fix it?

What do you mean by “send it”. Do you mean typing “ENTER” at the keyboard? But anyway, you should check the format code of the cell and give us some information about your locale (Formatting the date 04/24/10 as 04/114/19 looks quite strange. Did you mean “04/24/19 comes up as 04/114/19”

As estated in the question, 114 is the numbers of days from 01/01 until 04/24. But can’t find a code to show it in a date formated cell.
