Cannot record a macro. Some members claim that installing Java JRE 1.7 is a fix but it's not available from Java.

If you really, really want to go with deprecated -no support-no fixes anymore-software, you will find JRE 7 at https://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javase7-521261.html. But I strongly recommend to go with a newer Java Runtime (JRE 7 = 1.7 by old habbits of Java Developers)

Which OS and LO-Version do you use?

I have not heard of JRE 1.7.

How to install JRE for LibreOffice on Windows 10 can be found here.
