I have a Writer document in which I want Page 1 and 6 to be one column and pages 2 to 5 to be two columns.
I have tried many attempts to do this but they usually end up with all the columns being 1 or two. I tried to make a style but that did not work.
Any one have step by step instruction on how to to this?
You have two options: use sections (Insert → Section → set the number of columns) or page styles. To use page styles you need to change from one page style (Style1, without columns) to the other (Style2, with two columns) through a page break: Insert → More Breaks → Manual Break → select the correct page style (you’ll need to perform this action twice, one before and the other after the “different” pages).
