ebot Thanks for your reply. I have Microsoft Vista Premium Home Edition (32 bit) as the OS. This is not supported by Microsoft since April 6, 2017. I have to use an old edition of LO. I went to the archive and selected LO ver. (do you agree with this choice)? But clicking on it does nothing. How do I make it run? Thanks.

But clicking on it does nothing.

What do you think? Where exactly does cliking do nothing? Do you mean in the archive?

If you clicked on the LO version, you should continue. For example, "win /", click on it. Then comes the next selection. How many bits does your OS have? For 32-bit select "x86 /", for 64-bit select "x86_64 /". Then you can choose the program and then the helppack, both ".msi". And pay attention to the language selection in the helppack, for example "en-GB" or" en-US ".
