I can use mail merge to produce the individual invoices but how do i then email them? My email client is Thunderbird. I have to email some 300 invoices to members of my not for profit organisation.

Have you tried from menu File->Send->E-mail Document...?

Sorry, but gave a simple answer for simple question. Stating there are 300 doesn’t change it much. Please give some detail on what you are using such as specific LO version, OS, where are you producing the invoices (seems like writer), where are the e-mail addresses and are you familiar with macro coding?
As much info as possible as to what you have and specifically how you want it to work.
I,m using LO 6.0, OS is W 10, producing invoices in writer using mail merge from data in base. I’ve yet to delve into macros.
Have not determined any method to accomplish this in an automated way.
