I want to be able to save my spreadsheet document even if the content hasn't changed, for example to keep the cursor position when I open again my document.

There is an option to enable :

  1. Open the Options dialog via the menu Tools > Options and go to LibreOffice - General
  2. Check the option labeled "Allow to save document even when the document is not modified"

Options LibreOffice General
