How to increase bullet level in Impress?

How can I increase a bullet’s level in Impress? Pressing Tab (the most intuitive solution) does nothing but changes cursor focus to elsewhere. Clicking on the Promote and Demote buttons in the `Paragraph menu doesn’t help either!

How can this be done?

Demote: Alt+Shift+Right Arrow

Promote: Alt+Shift+Left Arrow
