Vertical position limit for objects in Impress

In LibreOffice Impress, I seem to be able to move objects as far as I like left and right, but only to a certain limit up or down. I want to take a high resolution image and zoom in on it, pan around it, using the animation features. I can’t put it where I want it though because of these position limits.

Is there a way to get rid of these limits to vertical object position?

A change of the internal max position values is not known to me.

But there is the possibility to use the “Custom animation” of Impress. Paste a picture. Right-click on the dropdown to convert>to curve. In the sidebar (Ctrl+F5 on/off) click on “Animation”. Mark your picture. Click on the plus sign in the sidebar. Mark the new entry at the top of the sidebar. Below you can now set which animation you want to use. Example: Fly In + On Click + From Top Left. Click on “Options” on the right in “Direction”. It opens a dialog box in which all settings can be clearly selected again.

I wish you success!

With me Windows 10 Home; Version 1809; 64-Bit | LibreOffice, Version: 6.2.3.2 (x64).

Thank you for your reply! However the limitations remain the same with this method, so it does not resolve the problem. Thank you!
