Proposal: Add pdf viewer in LibreOffice

Hi,

I know there have lots of pdf viewers existed. And LibreOffice Draw can open pdf too. But to a Windows user. I would like to use only LibreOffice to view common documents. Don’t want to install other pdf viewers. In the meantime, Draw doesn’t like a viewer much, it is more like an editor, or a slider…

I propose two way to implement this:

1. let Writer support pdf. When opening pdf, enter an “annotation mode”. View the pdf file like a normal file, with a navigation panel.
2. Add a component specifically for pdf…

Each way, we can add new features progressively. If this proposal is doesn’t get objected strongly. I have willing to make a prototype. Thoughts?

I dont see any advance in that proposal, there are enough pdf-viewers available no reason to reinvent the wheel.
