Why Can’t I Enter a different currency other than USD?
Yes, you can… go to Tools → Options → Languages settings → Languages and enter your currency…
I guess you are talking how to format a cell in calc.
In the cell style box or in the cell format box, tab number you can select the Language, also for currency category there is a list box on the top to select the currency.
