Formatting menus very slow (1min to open)

When I try to open any form of formatting in Writer I have to wait 1 min for the window to open. This problem occured in 3.5 and now in the latest stable version 4. Is somebody else experience these issues or is it just me?

I like graphical design and want to contribute on the default templates, but waiting 1 min every time I want to make the smallest edit is very irritating.

This is bug, I guess… I had similar issues on Ubuntu (I had to wait for menus to appear) but problem was solved by upgrading to the newest version… are you using 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows?

Im using the 64 bit version on a dualcore 1.3 GHz AMD laptop, 4GB ram. I can run Torchlight on this setup so one would think that it should be able to handle a formatting window too :). Oh well, now it has been registered; I hope someone will fix it!
