How do i make everything pasted into a column always the same colour?

I want to be able to drag and drop any text into a column and have it automatically take on the particular colour (indeed any formatting) that I assign to that column.

(Right now it just keeps it’s original formatting).

I know I can use ‘paste special’ but I will be doing alot of text moving, so I prefer to be able to do it with simple drag and drop - or any typing I do in that column.

It seems like conditional formatting may be able to do it but there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to indicate “any text”.

Let me ask questions for better understanding:

From where do you want to drag text into Calc column?

Do you want to drag into each text into a single cell of in a column of cells?

Is there a special feature in the text that could be used as criteria for conditional formating?
