I am using libreoffice 6.0.7.3 on ubuntu 18.04.2LTS with Intel Core i7-8700 cpu and Radeon Rx 570 series graphics card.
When I open up or start a file in Draw, Calc, or Writer, the drop down menus work. If I open another program such as Firefox or Chromium and return to libreoffice the menus do not open. I can use a hot key and save the program, close the file and re-open it without restarting libreoffice or restart the program and I can once again access the menus. This is, however, not a tenable solution. I have turned off graphics acceleration, turned off opencl in the options and attempted to open in safe mode but in both cases the problem still persists. I have purged libre office and reinstalled the program as well.
I would really appreciate any insight anyone can offer.
