How can I save my docs in PDF?

Do I need to purchase something from Adobe. If so, will it work with LibreOffice?

If you’re asking how to save a LibreOffice document as a pdf you can go to File–> Export As → Export as PDF.

No purchase required. This will create a new PDF file and let you keep the original as is. Hope that helps.

If you want to edit them after saving to PDF you buy from Adobe or also save your original document before going to File–>Export As–>Export as PDF because PDF is supposed to be a final product export.

I do not see an option to Export As →

More exactly menu item File>Export As>Export as PDF

Thanks for the reply. It made me realise I was not seeing the LibreOffice menus, but those of Google Drive which is where I had stored the document.

As I know, you can export office docs file as PDF format directly, no need to use any software from Adobe. Just click File–>Export As–>Export as PDF, that’s all. If you want to convert PDF to docs file, I’d also recommend Acethinker PDF Converter which I have used for many years. It’s a free web-based application to convert PDF, works pretty well for me.

Also you can save the LIbreOffice file embedded in the pdf file so when it is opened with LibreOffice you can edit the original file.

When exporting to pdf mark ‘Hybrid PDF (embed ODF file)’
