URL hyperlinks in text document

I have a problem with hyperlinks in text (‘odt’) documents, under LibreOffice 6.0.6.2, on a MAC running OSX Mojave 10.14.5. I have created such hyperlinks for a long time, but now, in some text documents only, their behaviour is different. In both ‘good’ and ‘bad’ documents, the hyperlink display under a hovered cursor shows OK, with a ‘command-key + enter’ pop-up describing how to access the hyperlinked webpage.

I typically create PDF documents from the completed ‘odt’ text document (Export As PDF), and change no settings on the resultant dialogue. In the PDF document for a ‘good’ document, the hyperlink seems normal (hovered cursor shows a ‘hand’), and clicking on the hyperlinked text accesses the linked webpage.

In the PDF document from a ‘bad’ document, the supposedly hyperlinked text shows blue and underlined (as expected), but there is no active hyperlink - no ‘hand’.

I view the PDF documents in ‘standard OSX Preview’.

Any guidance appreciated.

I assume that it will be allmost impossible to provide support for your problem, whithout having an odt/pdf files pair at least for “bad” at hand - so please consider to upload an anonymized version of a “bad” .odt file and its associated .pdf file.
