Even after completely unistalling the old and reinstalling ver 6.1.6.3 (x64) I keep getting this non-critical, but annoying error message when starting a ‘writer’ document.
C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\LibreOffice\4\user\template\xxxx\xxxxx.ott does not exist.
note, even when I create one, this startup error message keeps popping up.

Unstalling LibreOffice doesn’t reset/uninstall your user profile. Did you try to completely reset your user profile using description at https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile?
