How can I get more "Apply" buttons in LibreOffice dialog boxes?

Some LibreOffice dialog boxes have an "Apply" button which is very useful , but many dialog boxes do not

For example, in Writer, the Format/Page dialog box has:

but the Format/Character dialog box does not:

When needing to try numerous different formats, one after another, it seriously hampers workflow to have to re-materialize these dialog boxes each and every time.

Is there a way (an option? a hack? a script? ...?) in which an "Apply" button can be added to additional dialog boxes in LibreOffice?

Editing .ui files in LibreOffice install directory (they are glade files), you may add Apply button to any dialog you want. And even more than one Apply button. Also, you may add other buttons, like "Make me what I want" or "Wait, I changed my mind!"...

The only problem here would be that those added buttons need some code to execute; and that needs development.
