I have to use LO5 as on a Chromebook. In previous times whatever I used regarding LO had an option to "update index and table contents" or something like that. It does not seem to be available in LO5. Was it restored in LO 6? Or- is there something I have not done to LO5 to get it? It is a bit annoying to have to recreate the contents instead of updating them if pages change.

Edited to say I know where to find and use the option where it exists.

What I am trying to do is to find out what I could use that contains it. Ir could be a need to downgrade as much as anything else.

With 5.4 LibreOffice's version (Windows 10), right-click on the index and the option for 'Update index' it's there, also it's available through Menu/Tools/Update.

Alas, Chromebook users do not get 5.4 - I just tried to install it in case of miracles. Nope. We are relegated to LO5 (which is why I am wondering about a down, rather than an upgrade.)
