How can I set up horizontal and vertical lines on a spreadsheet?

I want all the dividing lines on a spreadsheet – horizontal and vertical – to show up when I print it out. How to do this?

Format the cells to have borders.
To do so

Select range of cells (or all cells by clicking the grey square top-right of the sheet)
Right click and select Format Cells - or - press CTRL+1
Select Tab “Borders” and add the borders according to your preferences
