I’m using an estimating software for my business which has the option of generating the reports in either a pdf or .doc files. When I save as a .doc file and open it up using Writer, the numbered list paragraphs are all out of alignment when compared to the pdf version. How can I correct that? Thanks in advance.
This might be a bug. Please file it to bug tracker, and attach a sample .doc and ,pdf, to be able to reproduce and see if that’s an import filter issue.
Are you using LO Writer only to visualise the report or will you edit it? If you intend to edit it, it may be worth to save as .odt and use the styling machinery to put your lists under powerful control.
