How can I check the accuracy of my main program download (180+MB) and help file? Does the .msi installer program perform such a verification and render md5sums unnecessary? Please advise.
On the download page, underneath “Main Installer”, click on “info” link. That will give you the various hashes for your download. If you download on a different platform then you will need to use the nodetect download page and work your way through the three or so pages to get to your required download page which will then have the appropriate “info” link.
