I have a Raspberry Pi 3 with Libre Office 6.1.5.2 installed. When open my powerpoint presentation, it opens and then crashes before moving to the next slide.

are you viewing or editing the slide when the crash occurs ?
if LO has crashed, then how are you able to move to the next slide ?
You misunderstood the question, his LO opens the presentation, and then immediately crashes before it is able to load the next slide.
