Display subform as list in form view in Base

Hi

I’m trying to use Base as a way to keep organized the firms that are involved in a small construction project. Also I would like to use the data in Base to fill in forms that I have to submit to the municipality to get a construction permit. I already use Base through data sources in Writer to make mail merges to send to the firms.

Every firm as a varying amount of responsibilites in the project. I have one table with all the firms, and another table with the responsibilities. The tables are linked one to many. One firm can have many responsibilities. All this works very well.

The problem is when I try to use Base to fill in the forms. I have tried to make a form, but the problem is to make a list of the contents of the subform of responsibilities. I cannot use a ‘table control’, because the row with the column titles gets in the way.

Is there for example a way to make a list of the subform, instead of the ‘table control’? Can I use subforms (related tables) as data sources in Writer? Or, is there a way to remove the title row in a ‘table control’?

Not sure whether you can remove the title bar from the grid control (maybe, but I don’t know how). Why is this a problem though in your form ? What do you mean by “gets in the way” ?
