Using Calc 4.0.4 spreadsheets, my files crash when I try to edit any formula. It goes through the recovery process, and then I can edit the formula when the sheet comes back up. I had no problems at all with 3.6.6. Running Win 7 Pro 64-bit. Doug

Hi Doug, can you try resetting the user profile?, sometimes solve strange issues.

I tried reinstalling LO4.0.4, which didn't work... then uninstalled it and reinstalled 3.6.7. I didn't know how to reset the profile, but I'll reinstall 4 and try again with the link you provided. I'll post the result...Doug

I uninstalled 3.6.7, reinstalled 4.0.4, re-named the user profile folder (C:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\LibreOffice\4\user ), restarted LO4 and the problem seems to have been solved... the user-old folder had a subdirectory named _basic_80_err, and it was missing in the new user folder. I really wanted to use the 4.0.4 version, and I appreciate the help in getting it working properly... Doug
