Help file not opening

I have downloaded and installed the help file, it shows in installed programs, but clicking help in one of the programs does not open it

Which operating system are you using and what is your default browser (Help file opens in your default browser)

win 10 home, chrome

if I open calc and click on help and from the drop down select Libre Office help, I get a message box saying "The libre office BUILT IN HELP for current UI language (english Uk) is not installed on your computer You may either install it from our website or on your systems repository (I assume downloads folder) or use online help.

As I said in my opening Q it is installed and showing in control panel programs

And chrome is defined in Windows Start -> Settings -> Apps -> Default Apps -> Web browser ?
And the helppack matches your locale ?

Ok - if your UI Language is UK you need to install LibreOffice_x.y.z_Win_x64_helppack_en-GB.msi (x.y.z is your version of LO, which you didn’t mention until now).

text in red followed through = chrome
help pack matches my locals ???
the help pack file is LibreOffice_6.26_win _x64_helppack_en_US.msi

I shall uninstall install it and install eN)GB

Let you know what happens

Thanks for your help
