seems like docx file got corrupted, get odt ext, now looks unreadable. how to fix it back?

Please provide the file - Nobody will be able to fix the hieroglyphs above.

Please provide a description of the file: is it the corrupted .docx file where you added .odt extension? If it is so, we can’t do anything for you: reading it as .odt will show junk anyway; reading it as .docx will invoke the docx input filter which will not work with corrupted data.

I can display the “catalog” of the zipped file but can’t extract any component. Corruption seems to have affected the zip encoding.

From my perspective nothing can be done due to corrupted ZIP file:

user@system:~/TEMP> unzip CorruptedODT15669843473676454.odt

file #2:  bad zipfile offset (local header sig):  77
file #3:  bad zipfile offset (local header sig):  463
file #4:  bad zipfile offset (local header sig):  1054
  inflating: META-INF/manifest.xml

and using any -F(F) fix option to zip will fix the file to the extent, that only META-INF/manifest.xml remains in the resulting fixed ZIP.

This is not my own file even. Basically it was a .docx file on windows, than smth happen, mb someone crack comp, I don’t know, but this what remain after. I tried on Mac OS also, nothing works…
