I know the the Notebook bar gives the UI a better appearance, but it still seems to be a bit of a “hack job”. Some of the icons are not even centered in the buttons and the color scheme does not help the appearance. The “tabs” on the mac do not look great either – will they look more like the MS Office tabs eventually?
I have tried using it on macOS, but there simply isn’t that macOS look’n’feel - it still looks clunky, and I still take ages trying to find what I’m looking for over the standard toolbar. If you couple that with an unreadable icon them, like Breeze or Sifr, good luck with being productive.
