windows 10 does not install downloaded msi version of libre office

i stated writing a file on libre office 6.1.5.2

Then I had to accept an update on windows 10 that downloaded bluetooth and wifi again. I deleted the wifi and all. I also deleted the libre office and all programs for I thought I need to start working on windows 7 again to be without any wifi and such.

Then I found out, updates in settings is still available and so I reset the computer. So I needed to install libre office anew. It would not.

The help page suggestet to download the msi -version of libre office, which I did. Libre Office will not install.

I can not troubleshoot this problem for the files on the computer I have all erased, also the cache is erased, I passed by there and did so.

In the control panel the libre office is still listed, but with a blind icon, I can not change , repair nor delete it.

I need help real bad, my 20 page odt file I need to work on. It contains pictures, so I can not go back to open office. Please someone help me!!!

Please read this FAQ. Possibly using a troubleshooter mentioned there would help; also note the requirements to have operational Windows Update service (no Internet access is required at the install time though).

I wrote I can not troubleshoot this problem, for there is no libre office file left in the computer.

Does “I can not troubleshoot this problem” mean “I used the troubleshooter from {FAQ}, and it didn’t help”? The word “troubleshoot” is quite generic, and doesn’t necessarily mean that tool.

Oks, yes, used the Troubleshooter, but he wants some libre office file. That 's why I ended up downloading the .mis file, but there also the same problem. The computer is not even showing the msi ending of the file in the filename. But I have tried all the files subsequetntly that are listed there, but none worked ini the installer nor the troubleshooter. i might have to reset the computer totally, but then i will have to erase the wifi and bluetooth and infrared files for 4 hours…

If i can at all erase the wifi drivers in the new windows 10 !!! Id rather buy a new pc to work on the text and have this computer wifi and bluetooth and infrared free to read email and watch youtube…

I can not work on the files odt of my 20 pages file on the windows 7 for even there the 32 bit version of libre office would not install.

and as wikipedia suggests i can not do, go into a shell and type the command to get some expert to help me.
I am really working on this for 3 days now and am frustrated.

/me wonders why do you erase all that? can’t you just disable the hardware at BIOS or at Windows Device Manager level?.. [/offtopic]

You may trust windws, but I dont. Well help with the cause asked in the question and please dont ask questions someone with a file that one wants to work on does not consider relevant to solve the file issue. I need help, not communication

I don’t think it’s possible to help in this case: you obviously have ruined something in your system rather severe; and it’s impossible to guess what or how to fix without being next to you at your screen…

Possibly you actually need to use something like GDocs, or make a clean sweep of your system.

since I dont have this problem with gimp nor lightwave, it seems to be a problem caused by libre office. I treated every programm the same way. Only libre office reacted with this unsolvable bs.

Mike Kaganski could you please get off this question? I want some real expert to help me. You seem to make money with some other office suite you advertise on your profile on here and your ansers seem to be than only, a trap. answer once with some mean whatever and then please do not disturb the working ones like I am. I need help to solve this libre office based problem. tx

libre office does not seem to be a stable solution for no help is offered when needed. I habe never ever needes computerhelp for normaly the google search helps to solve it. but this time, after the msi failed to install, I don’t get answers on the net. and on here too. kinda telling

if this is not solvable, I will start working on Google Docs, I just opend it and all I need is possible there. Import pictures, export Pdf and also I still have enough MB left to import all the pictures onto google …
