Copying and pasting always pastes without formatting, even in the same document

I am running LibreOffice on Chrome OS via Crostini. Whenever I copy and paste, LibreOffice only provides the option of pasting as unformatted text and says that the source is an “unknown source,” even when the source is within the same document.
