Hello,
here is what worked for me:
SHIFT
key is pressed; multi-select is not possible in Hierarchical view of styles)Right click -> Delete
Note Any default style (default in the sense of “delivered with the software”) cannot be deleted at all.
Tested using:
Version: 6.3.0.4, Build ID: 057fc023c990d676a43019934386b85b21a9ee99
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.12; UI render: default; VCL: kde5;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US,Calc: threaded
Thank you - that works.
Any ideas how to remove Syles that are in use? It says that “deleting will revert to parent style” - but this does not work - style is not deleted. Bug?
On my system and version of LibreOffice deletion of a custom style in use instantaneously reverts to parent style as per warning message. Thus may be a bug within your version of LibreOffice – or a side effect of your document being a descendant of Word.
Mark your text. Click Format>Clear Direct Formatting
(Ctrl+M
). Your text will always keep a style (default). But you can assign styles to your text, including custom styles in LibreOffice.
No, I want to remove the styles from the Style list navigator
