How do you make a text box, in LibreOffice 4.3?

Please help me, I'm trying to insert a text box, in LibreOffice 4.3 and I don't know how. I can't even find a text box, can someone help me?

Is there a menu option Insert | Text Box ? Look at the menu across the top and click on Insert and see what options are available.

I don't have that old a version to actually look at.

Why do you work with LibreOffice 4.3, it's very old?

There are two primary kinds of objects that might be used as "text boxes". One is Frame in the Insert menu, and the other is Text on the Drawing toolbar. They differ in the feature set; generally, frame offers more flexibility; but e.g. you cannot select several frames at once.
