The whole page is frozen. Cannot use any icons or toolbar to look for solution.
I can’t even close the window. How do I fix this?
It sounds as if the program has crashed and become unresponsive. That is worst case. It could also be some funky input issue with your desktop environment. You do not mention which OS you are using so it is hard to give specific help.
Your best option might be to simply terminate the process and hope that the document will be auto recovered the next time you open it.
Unfortunately these situations do occur, in all software. This is why you should regularly hit the save button and also have backups, for when things go really bad.
I am using LibreOffice version 6.0. It’s not the document I downloaded that’s the problem, I can’t get the whole Window to do anything, it is all frozen. However, interesting enough the second page I was working on will still come up from the bottom task bar and is active in Libre Writer.
