I constantly have to reformat my cells and use Data> Text to Column in order to get the number to be a number…
any way to default the whole spreadsheet as numbers?
Verify the cells are not formatted as text, if so maybe it happens when you import the numbers.
They are formatted as numbers, also pasting numbers that have value does will no longer have value value once pasted…
Pasting from where (which source format) and how? If the source is HTML it might help to use Paste Special (Shift+Ctrl+V) and select Unformatted Text which uses the Text/CSV import, and if it’s a table use Space separator and Merge delimiters.
