Which version of LibreOffice will interface between Windows 7 and Windows 10?

I have a new hp and I want to move 2007 Word files, and other Office programs, from my old hp to my new one. I believe LibreOffice would be a good program to use in my new computer but how well does old retired 2007 Word interface with a new computer with LibreOffice on it?
