In a spreadsheet formua, if one of the fields has no data in it, how do i get a value rather than #Value!

Formua returns a value of #Value!

And the formula expression is ...? And which cell is empty (has no data)?

Make sure that the so called empty field is indeed empty (clean). Maybe it is formatted as a non value like text. Try typing in a zero (0) and see what happens.
