When I upgraded to LibreOffice Office 6.2x my database cannot connect to MySql. Anyone else having this issue? I had to uninstall LO 6.2x and install LO 6.1x to get the JDBC connector working. This happens on Ubuntu 18.04 and 19.04. I am running MYSQL 5.7 on an Ubuntu 16.04 server. I am running the Oracle 5.45 connector

Ratslinger, you mean note if I put the same question in another forum?? Sorry posting and community support newbie here
Hello,
Have Ubuntu 18.04 and installed MySQL locally - v5.7.27
Used Oracle connector v5.1.45
Had LO v6.3.1.2 installed
JDBC connection had no problem.
Removed LO & installed v6.2.4.2 (you don’t mention specific version)
Had no problem with same connection.
Using:
mysql://127.0.0.1:3306/MY_DB_NAME?useLegacyDatetimeCode=false&serverTimezone=A
Have used JDBC connector in other OS’s such as Mint 18.3 without problem and with a variety of LO versions.
Note: LO versions used were from TDF (The Document Foundation) and not PPA or Distro versions.
Edit: Have also installed & tested with Mint 19.2 & LO v6.3.1.2 - all OK. Also on Ubuntu 18.04 tried with MySQL(JDBC) connection with LO v6.3.1.2 - all OK.
If you still have problems, maybe try resetting your user profile - LibreOffice user profile
Thanks Ratslinger! I will follow your tests this week and see what my issue seems to be.
