Is there an easy way to revert the range of tones in the LibreOffice 4.1 color picker? Manually monkeying with each of the dozens of swatches in the current rainbow mess is not a very good option :-/ The existing color set was wiped out, thus one must: 1) fight against muscle memory and 2) redesign documents, since colors have different names if they are even included in the set anymore.

It would also be nice if it were possible to make it not so tiny as well.

You can replace the new Lotus Symphony palette with the original from version 3 e.g; on Windows copy %AppData%\LibreOffice\3\user\config\standard.soc %AppData%\LibreOffice\4\user\config\standard.soc

(For some reason LO4 shrunk the size of the swatches, but did not widen the dialog to fit 12 items per row, which is how this palette is meant to be displayed, according to the comments within)

Also of interest make your own X11-style palette

The change to 12 columns of swatches per row is coming in v4.2.0 in February 2014 (to bring LO in-line with AOO). Refer fdo#67653.
