this docx does not exist keeps showing up. I don’t know why or how to retrieve this file
Um, where exactly does it keep showing up?
Guessing from the “E:” part, the file is probably on a portable drive of some sort, possibly a USB thumb drive, and you can access it there.
To stop the document from showing up in LibreOffice’s list of Recent Documents, just let your mouse hover over the thumbnail for the document and then click on the little white-on-gray “X” that appears in the upper-right-hand corner of the thumbnail. This will remove the document’s filename from the list but does not delete the document from wherever it is stored.
