Creating new database and make around 15 entries then database fails

Message I get is:
The data could not be loaded. S1000 General Error java,lang.NullPointerException in statement [SELECT * FRom “Assets”].

Have created 4 different databases and have the same problem each time - usually after I have created around 15 entries.
