Everytime I create a document with pictures, then save and attach to an email it opens up and is scrambled (pictures are missing or moved - text is all over the place).

If you want decent help, you need to provide more information:

  • what version of LibO?
  • what operating system are you on?
  • do you embed the graphics, or link them?
  • what email client / workflow do you use?
  • anything else that might be a factor!

In addition to David's questions: What document format are you using for your document? Look around the Ask LibreOffice questions for handling of various file formats by various office suites. Have you tried PDF?

As @David pointed out, more information is needed.

I just made a test (File > Email as OpenDocument Text) in Lib 4.0.4.2 on XP and emailing an odt file with pictures and text shows no problem at all.

Thus @David's question for more information becomes even important.
