The note in your instructions that reads as follows: Everything you send to a mailing list, including your email address and other personal information that is written in the message, is publicly archived and cannot be deleted Can you please give details of what this is pertaining to, are you using mailing lists that are provided to you for your purposes as in selling mailing list or using the email address of others on the mailing list for people to buy for there own purposes. Why will it be on a public domain, please provide information regarding this. It is troubling. please clarify clearly. thank you

You are on a site where users ask questions answered by other users on how to use LibreOffice components. In the right hand column of opening page (where questions are listed) under “Resources” is a link on “How to use the Ask site”. In that post you would find where to ask this type of question. Apart from that, “sending a mail to a mailing list” is when you send a mail to one of the mailing list addresses and all subscribers to that list receive the mail you sent, additionally the mails to the mailing list are archived and can be retrieved by the public. Thus all information you sent with your mail will be public and there is no way to remove it from the internet or make people forget what you said. That’s just normal how mailing lists work. We don’t sell addresses or content, but as it is public anyone might.
