libre office 6.2 crashed. I installed 6.3. the files I had are on libre and I can see them, but Libre says they do not exist. How do I get them back so I can use them?
What you see it not the files but thumbnails (preview images) of the files. The files are not on LibreOffice, but hopefully somewhere on your disk. So please use File -> Open and use the file picker dialog to search for your files and open this way. Once you found 'em, they appear again on the recently used documents list (which the thumbnails are indicating). Hover with your mouse over a thumbnail and you’ll see an information, where LibreOffice supposes the file to be.
