trying to upgrade Neo Office as have upgraded to el Capitan on old Imac from Lion
said ask on here
the download is free to previous purhcasers of neo office in last 12 months
Ive been using neo office for about 5 years so it doesn’t recognise me but no option to download and pay
confused
any ideas ??

Your question is specific to upgrade process of NeoOffice - the thing that is inherently specific to NeoOffice. If your question were about usage, it is possible that your question could be answered here (since NeoOffice is based on v.4.4 of LibreOffice). Yet, possibly some context of your question is missing? could you mention a link where were you advised to ask here?

Well, the following is taken from the NeoOffice Support page, under Download and Installation Problems ;
“We do not have any support staff. The fastest way to find an answer is to enter OpenOffice or LibreOffice and a short description of the problem in Google or your favorite search engine. Since NeoOffice is based on OpenOffice and LibreOffice, searching for the same problem in OpenOffice or LibreOffice may also give you an immediate answer.”
so I did what was suggested, seeing as you all work together …
All I want is a copy of NeoOffice that works in El Captain on Mac OSX
As a long term user, finding its been neutered by a long delayed software upgrade … delayed to avoid just this sort of issue … to find the result in open source software , is just as draconian and byzantine as expected with the global software behemoths, is more than disappointing
