Anyone missing the scroll buttons?

Hello,
I am still using LibreOffice 5.x as this shipped with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS which is my current OS. I took a look of Ubuntu 19.10 and found that the scroll buttons are missing. The reason for this specific feature is because of a custom made spreadsheet (calc) software (if i may say so) which has more than 1000 rows and around 50 columns. Scrolling down the rows is not an issue due to the scroll mouse but the columns are a different case altogether.

Would be grateful if the scroll buttons are re-introduced in LibreOffice since I was not able to find any additional option in the Settings menu.

In case i jumped the gun, please do not hesitate to coach me on this issue.

Thanks and Regards

I’m not sure whether I got the question right, but you still can scroll up /down by just clicking right above / below the scrollbar, even if there is no button to see.

Only the buttons are missing or the entire bar.

Hello,

Missing scroll bars/buttons in Ubuntu systems has been around for some time. Just looked again in Ubuntu 18.04 with LO 6.3.2.2 and it depends on the system setting. Go to Control Center → Appearance. Then under Customize on the Controls tab select a different theme. On my system “Raleigh” is a problem selection. Most others seem OK.
