I’m very new to this software. I just installed it on Mac OS. I wanted to create Base Database. I’ve selected HSQLDB Embedded. On save and proceed database Wizard freezes after clicking on Finish. I’ve read other questions on this forum and I can see that under Preference->Advanced selected JRE version is 1.8.0_91.
How do I fix this issue?

Guessing on same dialog Use a Java runtime environment is checked. Also there is a circular button to the left of Java installed. Is it selected - dot in center by clicking on it? Finally with Mac, do you have Java JRE or JDK installed? For Mac you need JDK.
Also, in routinely scanning other sites, I found you have cross posted this question. When you do that please note this in all postings and provide link to where else it was posted. This helps prevent duplicate effort on something which may already be answered elsewhere.
