Download from microsoft store not working in S mode?

I have an Acer Aspire running windows 10 s. I downloaded libreoffice from the microsoft store, assuming that it would work in S mode. However, when I try to run it I get “VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found”. Is there a way to fix this without leaving S mode?

You need to mention specifically which app had you downloaded from the store. The issue is with packaging, not with the LibreOffice itself; only packager can fix that. There are several packages existing in the store; one of them is from CIB (one of companies supporting LibreOffice), and for that app, you should contact them - try to search https://libreoffice.cib.de/ for a support link. For other store suggestions, there’s no known vendors who could support you - your only hope is if they publish their data in the store.
