localname and metadatareference are part of the properties of a paragraph. I believe these properties are the identifiers of each paragraph (and probably of other elements, such as tables, sections, etc.) in the compressed XML structure contained in the .odt file.
Is there any way to use these identifiers to directly access the associated objects similarly to how in the HTML DOM structure you can use the ID property to directly access an element of the DOM structure with the getElementById statement?
